About Me


Lily Lin, MBA, Ph.D. has had extensive management and consulting experience in several industries. She graduated from the University of Maryland in the US with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  She received her MBA from California State University in the US and her Doctoral degree in Strategic Marketing Management from Amsterdam University in the Netherlands. In addition, she has taken German language courses from Dusseldorf University in Germany and courses in revenue management from Cornell University in the US.
She is the Revenue Management course designer and senior revenue management lecturer at the Hotelschool The Hague in the Netherlands.  Prior to teaching revenue management, she was the designer, coordinator and the principal Lecturer of the Marketing Mgmt module.  She is also an Academic Board member at the Schouten University, Master of Business Administration in the Netherlands.  Currently, she is involved in research and industry networking at the Hotelschool the Hague.  She conceived her latest project, Interviewing Successful Hotel Managers Series, in which she interviews managers from major international hotels. Her work is published in Iworkinhotels.com and her blog, lininterviews.com.
When time permits, she also takes on consulting assignments, conducts workshops, and research projects in the fields of revenue management and marketing management.
